The Falco is on the ground with his landing gear now! Its a big satisfaction for us to see that I-ALDI is on his legs

We've been very lucky to find two original shock absorbers still sealed in their bag. These were made by Oleodinamica Magnaghi in Milano during the sixties.

The production falcos used a visual landing gear's position indicator on both wings. Another one was in the cowling for the front lg. When the gear is retracted the spring keeps the head down, and when it comes out the gear's leg presses the indicator.
In this way you have always an immediate idea whether the lg is out or in..
and you have also a very nice indicator on your wing..

This is the cut i had to do on the plywood to have the head on the same level of the plywood

T he indicator when is in the Gear Extended position. Not too much drag and perfectly visible if you paint the borders of the head in a different colour.
