Now, on the Falco the navigation lights and the strobes aren't located on the side of the tip, but to reduce drag are inside the wing.This creates a problem, since you have to build (buying from Sequoia is maybe better) a mold to form the plexiglass.
Since you should buy the already made lenses before building the wing and to make the wing accordingly, we were late and we had no choiche other than making the molds.This was also an interesting and nice task.

First you start from drawing this simpe curve on a piece of plywood.

 

Then you have to find a good piece of wood.I draw the curve needed in all the three dimensions.

There's a lot of work required to achieve the final result.

And now it's installed on the wing.Next step will be sending it to a good plexiglass expert to make the lenses.
